Red in the winter. White in the summer. I'm a business woman who enjoys wandering through museums, visiting the zoo, catching a show, singing and swaying at concerts, taking on a new challenge, and curling up with a good book in front of the fireplace. My latest exciting endeavor is ballroom dancing!

I like to bake, and I’m known for my homemade bread and apple pie. I've been told my osso bucco is noteworthy as well. Discovering new restaurants, trying interesting fare, and finding new wines are always fun. A summer evening of grilling and relaxing on the deck is at the top of the list.

I love to visit the local sites and to travel. My favorite destinations so far have been South Africa, Morocco, and Australia. Hawaii and Japan are on my 2012 list. Still to come: Italy, Ireland, and maybe Russia.

I try to keep up on local and world news and consider my iPad my connection to the world. Tivo is my other techno-friend. It regularly records TMZ, Modern Family, Graham Norton, and NCIS. My favorite movies are among the Golden Globe and Oscar nominees. And I really love a comedy that makes me laugh so hard I cry.


ABOUT ME: My friends describe me as witty, fun, high-energy, and adventurous with a big heart. Make no mistake, you won’t find me jumping out of an airplane. But I’m up for a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon or getting into shape to do a three-day charity walk or hike up Half-Dome again.

I’m a good audience who laughs easily. I’m a lifelong learner always enrolled in a class online or in-person. I like to set goals and have something to work toward and I love to take the occasional day off to recharge.
