Wine enjoyed, is wine enjoyed. Do you like wine as a dinner beverage, or just to drink it because you like it. I enjoy both descriptions. I am a lover of pretty much all wines simply because I have met few wines I didn't care for. Yes, there are always some vintages which simply suck, due to the blender's inability to do well, considering the grape and flavor. I am not a fine wine connoisseur. I am a wine lover in general. The art of a good wine maker, is simply to do his/her job with care. Have you ever tried box wines? I love Vella Merlot. It is not a special blend. It's Merlot at it's very best. Nearly dry, but not. Perfect with all foods including anything which is not edible. In which one throws out the food and sips the wine. Some top shelf wines don't even compare to bottom shelf brands....
