I’m more of a “simple pleasures” kind of person when it comes to wine.
I enjoy a smooth red wine, especially something like a Merlot or Pinot Noir, not too heavy, but rich and comforting.
As for wine regions, I appreciate wines from California’s Napa Valley, not just for the flavor, but for the calm, scenic energy the region represents.
I’m not a wine snob, but I do enjoy sipping slowly, especially with good food or good company.
